We accept all common bank cards with Bancontact and Maestro, as well as Mastercard, Visa and American Express.
You can also pay with Payconiq at Alix.
Cash only creates risk, and it’s not hygienic either. So leave those bills in the bank. It’s safer for you and for us.
Online brunch reservations can be made from 6 weeks in advance (sometimes earlier for special dates/parties). You cannot click on a date if the reservations are not yet open or if we are closed on that day (e.g. holiday or exceptional closing day on which there is no brunch).
If online booking is possible, but the reservation system does not find a place for you, you can register on the waiting list. The system will notify us so that we can manually check for you to see if there might still be a place. If there is, we will call you as soon as possible!
Most of our brunch is vegetarian. As meat, we only serve fried bacon (optional with the scrambled eggs) and baked and Italian ham. But even if you eat vegan, we are happy to make sure you can enjoy our brunch. Just mention it with your reservation, and we’ll make sure there are plant-based milk and yogurt for you, among other things, and that you won’t be short of anything!
Baby on the way? Even in that case, you can enjoy our brunch buffet without worries: there is a wide selection of pregnancy-safe treats. All the dairy we use during brunch is pasteurized. All vegetables are thoroughly rinsed and there are also prepared (non-raw) vegetables. Only the smoked salmon might be best left out.
Certainly, we want everyone to be happy! Mention your dietary requirements when making your reservation and we will make sure you won’t be short of anything!

Alix is within walking distance of the Gent-Sint-Pieters train station, making it easily accessible by both bus/tram and train.
Bikes can be placed in the bike shed on our property.
The closest public parking is the B parking of station, it is less than a 10-minute walk from Alix. Use navigation (Waze/Google Maps) to enter the parking lot.
You can also park on the street (pay parking 9am-7pm, about €1.8/hour, yellow parking zone). Use the on-street parking meters, or a parking app such as 4411 or EasyPark. Pay attention to parking signs and resident spaces.
Alix is outside the low-emission zone.
If you want to be sure in advance whether there will be indoor or outdoor brunch, feel free to ask before your specific date.
Welcoming so many guests to brunch every weekend does not happen by itself, it requires a whole organization, infrastructure and planning. Therefore, we also cannot move brunch from inside to outside and vice versa in a snap depending on the weather of the day. Twice a year we make a big SWITCH. In spring – sometime in early May – we move outside, all the tables are under one of our tents and you’ll find the buffet in the conservatory. Is it chilly for the time of year? Then there are fleece blankets and patio heaters, and then we ask you to put on an extra sweater. In the fall – around early October – we move the brunch cirucs indoors and welcome you to the two floors of our cozy mansion. The buffet is on the second floor.
